The founder of Crafty Kids Studios!
I am a New York City native, Pace University graduate, finance career-woman (once upon a time), but most importantly a wife and Mama to three beautiful girls – Ella, Alissa and Lily. I fell in love with Westport over a decade ago when my husband, Andre, took me out on a date to see the Fourth of July Firework show at Compo Beach. Having rooted my family in the very same town has been a dream!
The idea of Crafty Kids has been in the works for quite some time. Being a stay-at-home Mom, especially during the pandemic, played a huge role in allowing me to get back into the passion I have for hands on crafts. My daughters are the reason behind Crafty Kids. Their thirst for crafting and all things art have inspired me to create a space for children, like my own, where they can simply let their imagination and creativity run wild. The pure joy my children display when experimenting with various art materials and mediums, slime, up-cycling (gotta love decanting days) and creating “Mater Pieces” is the driving factor behind my business. Enthralled by everything our community has to offer motivates me to further enrich it with a creative, fun, nurturing environment for our children!

Our Philosophy: Process Over Perfection
YES Slime!!... the very thing us Moms don't want in our homes. It’s creativity in its most joyful, hands-on form. Slime invites curiosity and experimentation—there’s no right or wrong, just mixing, adjusting, and discovering what happens next. The sensory experience helps kids relax and stay present, while the freedom to choose colors, textures, and add-ins builds confidence. A little mess becomes part of the magic, and we get to watch excitement turn into pride as crafters create something completely their own.
SLime
Creating scrapbooks gives our crafters a space to tell their own stories. Witnessing the therapeutic process of choosing colors, images, textured and printed paper, and words that show their personalities coming through in their unique creations brings me much joy. Scrapbooking lets them slow down, be creative without rules, and turn memories and imagination into something they’re proud to hold and share.
